자원 제공자 The Source and the Supplier

우리는 우리 스스로에게 

사로잡혀 있어

감사해야 할 은혜를 잃어버린다.

우리 자신이 

모든 좋은 것들의 

이유가 되며 원천이기 때문에

아무도 감사하지 않는 세상에서

산다는 것은 슬픈 일이다.

+ Because individual achievement is so highly celebrated in our society, we often fall into thinking that we are the cause and source of the blessings in our lives, that somehow our accomplishments are due to our ingenuity, hard work, and resourcefulness. Lord, remind us that all good gift come from above. +

온갖 좋은 은사와 온전한 선물이 다 위로부터 빛들의 아버지께로부터 내려오나니 그는 변함도 없으시고 회전하는 그림자도 없으시니라 (야고보서 1장 17절) 

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
